Join YPE Boston and the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) for a tour of the Deer Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. The plant serves 43 communities in the Boston area, making it the second largest in the country. We'll learn about the history of the plant, the iconic egg-shaped anaerobic digesters that you see when flying into Logan Airport, and the energy future of the MWRA.
